Zincast Foundry Limited has the facilities to produce castings from a wide range of ALUMINIUM AND ZINC ALLOYS.
The most commonly used alloys are;
- Zinc alloy to BS 1004A ,Z3 or mazak
- Aluminium alloys to BS 1490 Alloys LM4, 6,24 and 25 being the most wildly used.
- Zinc/aluminium special alloys e.g. ZA27.

We are equipped with both COLD CHAMBER (FOR ZINC OR ALUMINIUM) and HOT CHAMBER (ZINC) as well as for GRAVITY CASTING (usually aluminium).
Quality Control
Quality Control is governed by ISO 9001:2000 for which we have recently undergone a very successful audit.
Our commitment to quality means applying the highest standards at all times and to all aspects from initial contact through to final delivery.
In production we use tried and tested methods with a firm belief in continuos improvement in our production methods and quality systems.
Quality is an essential part of every stage of our production process and is carefully and diligently controlled by our commitment to our accreditation and to our customer’s satisfaction.
We are equipped with our own IN HOUSE TOOLROOM that maintains dies and tools in first class order in addition to carrying out routine maintenance and minor modifications.
This ensures tooling is kept in a good environment and free of damage.
Every die is inspected and prepared for use by slilled personnel and tools are cleaned and examined at the end of each production run before being returned to their unique location.
Documentation is kept on each tool usage and a ‘last off’ casting is kept with the tool.
